Flavorful One-Pot Pork Mix
Equipment
- Sauce pan or cast iron pan large
Ingredients
Meats and Onion
- 600 g pork tenderloin
- black pepper to season the loin
- 300 g Chorizo I used a hot variant
- 280 g bacon
- 2 yellow onions coarsely chopped
- butter for frying
Sauce and Spices
- 5 cloves of garlic pressed
- 1 meat bouillon cube
- 4 dl double cream
- 125 g Mascarpone soft cheese
- 1 tbsp soy
- 1 tbsp Sambal Oelek
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp cayenne optional
- 5 cl cognac optional but gives a nice flavor
Instructions
- Prepare the pork tenderloin by slicing it into centimeter-thick pieces. Additionally, shred the bacon, cut the sausage into smaller pieces, and coarsely chop the onion.
- First, brown the pork tenderloin in butter and season it with pepper. Once done, set it aside. Next, fry the bacon, sausage and onion separately until they get a nice color. Set them aside. Then, place the meat, bacon, sausage and onion in a pot and add pressed garlic and a crumbled bouillon cube.
- Heat a pan and fry the ingredients together for a minute or so. After that, add cream and cheese. Season the mixture with soy, Sambal Oelek, Dijon, cayenne, and cognac. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to medium heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the fillet is ready. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning if required. Serve with any side dish, such as rice, pasta, mashed or roasted potatoes, and a nice salad of your choice.Cuisine: Makes Me Happy.
